John Wilson was inspired to start his own tutoring company when he noticed a pattern among Ontario's elementary and high school students: the need for personal connection and guidance throughout the long and often challenging years of education. Despite the best efforts of many teachers, John noticed the struggle many students were experiencing in the after-school hours.

For some, it was difficulty keeping up with homework; for others it was the challenge of reaching that next level of achievement in their studies. From its beginning to this day, the goal of Cedarmount Learning has been to offer intelligent and intentional guidance to each student, so that excellence in every subject becomes a possibility and a reality.
